Mary Lynne Dittmar, President and CEO, Coalition for Deep Space Exploration

Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar is President and CEO of the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration, a diverse industry trade group of more than 65 companies engaged in human exploration, science, and commerce in deep space. Her previous experience includes managing Flight Operations for Boeing on the International Space Station Program, where she oversaw systems integration for approximately 1/3 of the ISS assembly flights before serving as Boeing’s Chief Scientist for Commercial Payloads. She left Boeing in 2004 to begin a consulting firm with DoD, FAA, NASA, and a variety of international and domestic companies as clients. She is also a serial entrepreneur, having launched two technology companies in addition to her consulting firm.
Mary Lynne is a member of Users’ Advisory Group of the National Space Council. She also serves on the Commercial Space Transportation Space Committee (COMSTAC) at the FAA, on the Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, and was formerly on the Human Spaceflight Committee at the Academies. She is a Fellow of Sigma Xi National Research Society, and an Associate Fellow of the American Institute for Astronautics and Aeronautics. She resides in Washington, D.C.
